How It Began...
In 1995, an endeavor was begun to provide wholesome, family entertainment to the Fayette community and surrounding areas. The result was Dogwood Productions. Since that time, the cast and crew have entertained thousands with only the highest quality presentations for the stage.
Our Message...
Dogwood presents at least two major productions every year:
"Come Back to God, America!" is a musical plea for this great country to turn back to its godly heritage so that God Almighty will return to us.
"The Gospel According to Scrooge"" is a musical and dramatic adaption of Charles Dickens' "A Christmas Carol" in which Scrooge is visited by three angels (not ghosts) attempting to soften his hardened, legalistic heart.
Our Community...
Recently, our director, Deborah Bynum, and Dogwood Productions was presented with the Chamber of Commerce Outstanding Community Service Award. We are thrilled with the honor and would like to thank the Chamber and the citizens of Fayette and surrounding areas for their support over the years. |
